San Diego Comic-Con

This post is the short one. The one where I tell you I just got back from a week in San Diego, working the booth for my company (well not “my” company, but you know what I mean).

It was very different from the times I’ve gone as a fan. Kind of like if your parents made you stay in and study when all your friends were outside playing….and you could hear them having the most fun ever. That said, I probably met 10,000 more people than I would have as an attendee. And while I’m an introvert by nature, con peeps are my peeps, and so it doesn’t take so much work for me to be “on” around them.

Also, let me tell you the best part. I met freaking Joss Whedon. Yes, it was for like 3 seconds; and yes, it was so loud I’m sure he didn’t hear a word I said (not necessarily a bad thing as I think I might have been completely incoherent), but still! I shook his hand! Yay!

All in all, despite being bone tired every night I had a great time. Can’t wait for next year! More to come including some pics.
